Recombinant Protein - A
Protein A links to to the cell wall of most bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. It has high affinity to IgG from various species, and interacts with antibodies like human IgG1, IgG2, IgG4, IgM, IgA, IgE, therefore ideal for purification process of most mAbs.
With high selectivity and good stability properties, protein A is currently the preferred ligand for purification of antibodies.
Our Protein A is specifically modified for commercial scale chromtraphic media applications. The clone was modified for ideal media performance, the protein is manufactured on our propieatary E. coli platofrm and purified by HPLC reaching highest purity levels.
With improved resistance to cleaning, our Protein A has strong resistance to alkali CIP thus allow longer media usage, longer production campaigns and simplified manufacturing processes, resulting in production down time and media change reduction, ideal media performance, yield improvement and overall costs reduction.
